Summer BBQ at Robson Park

Posted in: , ,

On the sunny day of July 15th our MLA Bruce Ralston hosted a barbecue event at Robson Park. The heat wave that passed by the province wasn’t enough to keep the constituents from joining the festivities and enjoying hot dogs among the community members.

Spread over the park’s main entrance, the attendees met their neighbours and friends in a cozy atmosphere that was complemented by the upbeat energy of the kids who had tattoos and treats provided by the mobile office volunteers. At the occasion MLA Bruce Ralston shared with the constituents the news about the current legislature as well as heard from them the day by day issues and developments of the community.

The number of people who joined the barbecue was a record breaker for this constituency, showing the community’s growing interest in community life and was also a great opportunity for MLA Bruce Ralston to hear from them suggestions and concerns in our beloved City of Parks. The next event on the summer barbecue schedule is set for August 6th at Forsyth Park. On this day we will be celebrating our civic holiday, BC Day and it promises to be as crowded and fun, bringing the community together to share a family day at the park so come join us and get your very own BC flag and a tasty hot dog.
